I Won Again!!

Firstly, Hi and thank you to anyone that’s come over here to find out what my announcement is from my last social media post 👋

If you already follow my blog you’ll know that my last post was all about finally being able to have the beautiful Halo award at my studio to take some promo photos. Well….guess what! I’ve only gone and won this year’s Halo award too!!!

I’m sure most of you won’t actually know what it is, so heres some background…

It’s an industry Award for recognising excellence in the promotion of Hallmarking Awareness & Learning Online (HALO).

In plain English, that simply means it’s all about educating my lovely online followers and customers about what hallmarking is and why it’s important.

There are only a few countries in the world where hallmarking is a legal requirement when selling an item made from a precious metal. Personally, I think it’s a really special thing as it gives you a guarantee that the item you’re buying is actually what I’m telling you it is.

I won’t go into all the details in this post as I have a whole page on my website that tells you all about it, which is one of the reasons I’ve won the award.

As I mentioned last time though, it’s a pretty prestigious award to win, as it’s open to the whole of the UK online jewellery selling industry. That’s a whole lot of massive companies that potentially could have entered and they’ve picked little old me!

There will no doubt be lots of follow ups to this post along with various promo from the British Hallmarking Council, and at some point, I’ll get to see my name engraved for a second time on that lovely shiny plate!
