I’ve just sent out my second (and last) commissions reminder ready for my list opening again on Friday. You need to be on my mailing list to receive the commissions link, but I included some useful pricing information(correct for February 2025) in the email that I thought I’d also share here for anyone that might be thinking of a future commission.

If for some reason, you’ve missed signing up to my mailing list and would like to send your commission request on Friday (7/2/25), please add your email address below and I’ll do a final check for new subscribers on Thursday (6/2/25) afternoon.

So here’s a basic summary for a commissioned piece/s :

Drawings - £35 - this includes me producing usually 2 - 4 ideas based on our initial discussions. It also includes 1 or 2 updates / refinements.

Basic Commissions fee - £425 - This includes the removal of any gemstones and the melting down and re-processing of your metal. It may also include/all of the making depending on the complexity of the piece. If any additional metal or gemstones are needed, these will be charged on top. (If you would like more than one piece of jewellery made, then the basic fee for each additional piece will be £250.)

As a rough idea, a 5/6mm wide ring made completely from your old jewellery, a small amount of engraved detail and set with 5 - 8 gemstones might work out somewhere around £600.

If I need to add any additional metal or gemstones, this will be charged on top. I do have a small amount of gold and silver that I’ve collected as scrap from previous commissions and is ready to be recycled, so please still feel free to fill in the form even if you don’t think you have enough old jewellery at the moment.

The drawings fee is paid up front via my website and then I usually require a 50% deposit followed by the remaining balance when I have finished your jewellery. You will be asked to agree to my commission terms and conditions when you pay for your artwork, but if you’d like to read them in advance, please click here.

Also please remember that I now have my “Online Shop With a Difference”, where you can order from a small core collection of designs to be made from your old jewellery. This is a less expensive and quicker way of getting your jewellery remodelled as I’ve already done all the design work.
