I haven't posted these photos anywhere yet so thought this would be a good opportunity to share them. Just before Christmas, I did some work for the homelessness charity "Crisis" in Birmingham. 

The first workshop I ran was at Crisis' unit at the famous "Custard Factory", followed by a short workshop in a Women's hostel.

I thoroughly enjoyed running both workshops and received some amazing feedback from the participants.

This is something that I've been looking into for a while now and have already made a start with my shiny new website but the subject of branding and especially packaging is something I'm still trying to make a decision on.

Today's post is a short one because it's Sunday and I've been spending the last day of the Christmas holidays having fun with my family and friends.

I was talking with some friends earlier this week about Etsy. I assumed that most people knew what it was, and especially thought my arty / poet / writer friends would, but I was surprised when most of them said they hadn't. So, I thought I'd help spread the word a little about this website full of handmade, wonderful and beautiful things with a few items that I came across this morning..........

So, you have an idea for a special piece of jewellery, or you can’t find exactly what you want online or on the high street. You decide that you would like to have your piece made but how do you go about that?

As I sit here looking at my (not yet decorated) tree, I thought I'd do a bit of a stock take and list some of the pieces that are already made and ready to post. These will all be discounted and in my Etsy Shopalong with details of last ordering dates for Christmas.
